A Jamie Englert
work of art, this doll is an A. Thuillier, a French company who
made dolls during the last quarter of the 1800's. Her bisque is
a pale & soft color. She has light grey paperweight eyes which
follow the almond shape of the antique doll. She is wearing a tawny
blonde mohair wig. Her costume is handmade of silk, in an aged pale
mint green. She won't wear anything else! The design of the outfit
was copied from a photo of an antique doll in an auction book. She
has handmade leather shoes & handmade stockings. If you are
a collector of antique dolls & cannot afford these wonderful
French faces, a quality reproduction is the way to go.
This doll has
been created using heavy research into the techniques of antique
dollmaking. Only the finest materials have been used.
